It’s a popular misconception in League of Legends that the support role cannot carry. However, veteran support players such as Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black have fought against this faulty mindset since the very beginning.
During yet another SoloQ stream in 2012, Aphromoo explained and promptly displayed the correct way that a support, in this case a Leona, can help dominate the bot lane and set up his lane partner for success.
His phrase: “WTF, Support is SO easy!”, became an instant classic that is repeated again and again to this day. Sometimes to refer to how the role is easy, sometimes to refer that having an impact and carrying as support is easy. Either way, Aphromoo’s classic support play is forever remembered.
